The Election, Writing, Oration, and Rhetoric: the Power of Language in Politics

Soon to come: a post examining the immense power of language and rhetorical skill, both written and spoken, on the political sphere. Election, politics, the presidential campaign… Obama wins overwhelmingly. Why? Because he used powerful language to move the nation. In this post I will undertake an exploration of the campaign rhetoric of the new president elect and his former opponent in order to show how his words won him the white house.
